Moderator Code of Honor
(AKA How Not To Get Timed Out or Banned)

The moderators of GameOn can and will be vicious if you violate the code. Please read it before participating in chat.

1) Mutual courtesy in the channel is required.

That means respect your fellow chatters. If you cross the line by trying to be a troll or scum bag, you will be warned. If you continue to be excessively disruptive (or just a plain jack ass) you will be timed out or banned at the discretion of a Mod. Just hang out and have fun, if you need to upset people to have fun, go somewhere else.

2) Posting a promotional link (to you or anothers channel/blog/etc.) without getting permission is insulting and rude.

You will be considered a spammer and may be perm banned with no warning. This will be at the discretion of mods. Posting links that are relevant to discussion are typically fine, but use your judgment. If you're not sure, ask first. A mod will give you the ok.

3) TALKING IN ALL CAPS IS OBNOXIOUS.

We understand that it's hard to get attention to your comment or question, but it's unfair to use caps to do so. If everyone talked in caps, the world would explode and kittens would go hungry. If you continue to talk in all caps even after you're warned a time out will follow.

4) No discussion encouraging or promoting illegal activities of any kind.

You will be warned before being timed out.

5) If you are a guest in a game being streamed maturity and mutual respect are required.

If you can't comply with requests by the host (Swiftor usually), leave the game, or you'll be kicked from the game and banned from the channel. No tolerance on this issue.

6) Exceptions exist.

Mods will use their judgment to help ensure that the highest quality experience is possible in the channel. So just be cool.

Appeals

If you have a request to be unbanned, because you feel you were unrightfully banned or want to request a second chance, send Swiftor a message. We log all activity in this channel 24/7 and will refer to the logs to verify and review any claims.
